2023 Forced Air Mechanical Recap!

2023 was a crazy but good year for Forced Air Mechanical and we wanted to take a few moments to share some of our highlights!  

In March, we had a Surprise Baby Shower for one of our technicians Mike! He and his wife welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. We have been fortunate enough to meet her and she is absolutely adorable! Maybe she’ll grow up to be a technician just like her Dad!

In April, Becky got promoted to Assistant Office Manager and shortly after Tori was hired as the new Customer service Representative at FAM!  

 In August, we had our first annual Fantasy Football Draft Party! Jason grilled up some steaks and veggies and FAM sat down to pick their 2023 Fantasy Football Line Up! Everyone was very into the draft and it was so much fun seeing who was drafting who in real time. A lot of interesting choices were made that lead to some fun bantering and smack talking!  We look forward to the draft party again next year! Spoiler alert: The trophy stayed on Becky’s desk again this year. 

In October, the FAM office staff decided to dress up for Halloween! It was a lot of fun to see how creative, or not so creative costumes everyone came up with. I think everyone’s favorite was Jason dressed up as Sully from Monster’s Inc.  

In November we had a little FAM Thanksgiving get together for lunch! Jason killed it grilling some fantastic food and the office staff all brought in various sides, including the Thanksgiving classics – Green bean casserole, Mac N Cheese and Sweet Potato casserole. Everyone was so stuffed!  This month, Steve was promoted to our new HVAC/Refrigerant Service Manager!

In December, we decorated our Christmas tree again in downtown Cary! We were very creative with our design this year, as we always try to tailor it to include HVAC and Refrigeration themes, with Heat Miser and Mr. Freeze from A Year Without Santa Clause. What better mascot is there for a Refrigeration and HVAC Company.  

We also had our annual company Christmas party and this year all of the families came to join in on the fun. There were fantastic prizes raffled off, a cup game where you could win anything from sardines to $100 and so much food and fun!  

This year we also continued our Above and Beyond Nomination wall in which every employee has a chance to nominate who they thought went above company standards.  We also had a 2023 Employee of the Year and this year that title went to Charlie!
